Truck Driver + Material Handler
Bentley Built is looking for a reliable Truck Driver + Material Handler to join our team!
Description:
-Our Delivery Drivers/Material Handlers are responsible for picking up and dropping off items while adhering to assigned routes and time schedules. Drivers should be willing to work as part of the delivery team in order to ensure that the items are safely delivered on time and to the correct job site when they are required.
-To succeed as a Delivery Driver/Material Handler, you should thorough in ensuring orders are properly fulfilled, committed to work safety, and passionate about satisfying clients’ timelines and high standards of construction quality.
-Delivery Drivers/Material Handlers are responsible for managing the warehouses where materials and products are stored. All items stored in our warehouses should be kept in neat and orderly fashions, with quick and easy access for timely delivery when they are called upon.
Requirements:
-Valid driver’s license.
-Driver safety check + clean driving record.
-Experience driving delivery trucks + other various machinery.
-Experience managing warehouse + materials inventory.
-High School Diploma or equivalent.
-Strong time management skills.
-Ability to walk, drive, and lift and carry heavy items for extended periods.
Expectations:
-Managing and building material orders for job sites.
-Loading and unloading of required materials on delivery truck.
-Shipping parts, products, equipment, and supplies to customers or job sites from one of our warehouses.
-Receiving parts, products, equipment, and supplies from vendors and suppliers to one of our warehouses.
-Recording the movement of parts, products, equipment, and supplies to and from any of our warehouses.
-Managing and maintaining inventory in materials warehouse.
-Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete
-Assisting with assembly or manual maneuvering of construction supplies (ie. scaffolding).
-Flexibility + willingness to work with coworkers in a jam.
-Following time schedules.
Wage is dependent on previous experience.
