Tucked into the Woodman’s Grove subdivision in Wolfville, this two-storey custom home was years in the making — and worth every bit of the wait.
The clients purchased their lot before COVID with a clear vision of what they wanted to build. What followed was a search for a builder willing to work with a site that gave others pause. When they connected with Bentley Built, we took on the design challenge directly — engineering a home that worked with the lot, respected their budget, and met our building standard.
The result is a home that doesn’t compromise. Dark painted cabinetry with brass hardware anchors a kitchen designed around the view — oversized windows framing the wooded landscape beyond. A natural maple island and matching built-ins bring warmth against the deeper tones throughout. The open staircase, custom fireplace, and ensuite with freestanding soaker tub round out a home that feels considered from entry to ridge.
Built to our energy performance standard, this home was independently evaluated and verified to perform 69 GJ per year better than a code-built home of the same size. With solar, it’s estimated to consume just 5 GJ annually.
